If you own a 1911, chances are you have more than one set of grips. Every so often, I get the urge to change the grips on my 1911s. It gives them a fresh look and feel. One of the best looking, and economical grips on the market is from Magpul. They're only $19.95 per set! The new grey ones are my favorite. Magpul 1911 grips are constructed of heavy-duty reinforced polymer and have a unique, diamond-shaped cross section to prevent twisting in the hand. There's also an aggressive magazine release cut-out and unlike a lot of grip panels, they are compatible with ambidextrous safeties.
