Advanced Armament Evolution 9mm Silencer

The integrated ASAP System of Advanced Armament EVOLUTION silencers achieves complete reliability under the most demanding conditions. The Advanced Armament ASAP System is a recoil boosting mechanism which ensures reliable pistol operation, allows for zero-shift adjustment, provides for modularity to support multiple weapons platforms, and aids in making the Advanced Armament EVOLUTION the most efficient silencers in the world. Compact and light weight the Advanced Armament EVOLUTION silencer preserves the balance and handling characteristics of the pistol, making full-time suppressor use a reality. The reduction of muzzle report eliminates the need for ear protection, preserves field communications, and masks the location of the shooter. All Advanced Armament Evolution silencers are shipped with an Advanced Armament ASAP Lock, for use with weapons with non-moving barrels. New for 2007 is a spring loaded, 3-lug coupler that enables users to attach an Advanced Armament EVOLUTION 9 to an H&K MP-5 or any host weapon featuring a 3-lug barrel or adapter manufactured to H&K specifications. When installed, a self locking feature prevents the 3-lug coupler from inadvertently unscrewing from silencer body. The Advanced Armament SCARmor™ treated alloy steel construction of the 3-lug coupler acts as a blast shield and further protects the other internal components during fully automatic firing.

The Advanced Armament EVOLUTION 40 is a high-performance sound and flash suppressor designed for use on .40 S&W caliber semi-automatic handguns. As with all members of the Advanced Armament EVOLUTION family, the Advanced Armament EVOLUTION 40 stands head and shoulders above the "competition" because it incorporates the A.S.A.P. System. Essentially a "product-perfected" Nielsen device, the Advanced Armament A.S.A.P. System enables traditionally recalcitrant Browning inspired handgun designs to function reliably by temporarily relieving the host firearm of the weight-burden of the suppressor. When an Advanced Armament EVOLUTION 40 equipped weapon is discharged, high-pressure gasses enter the suppressor body and propel it forward against the tension of the Advanced Armament A.S.A.P.
