Smith & Wesson E-Series 1911SC in 45acp

SMITH WESSON 1911SC E SERIES FOR SALE

Last week, we featured the Dan Wesson VBOB 1911. This week, we're taking a look at another commander length 1911 with a bobbed tail: the new Smith & Wesson E-Series 1911SC. Thanks to its featherweight Scandium frame, the 1911SC tips the scales at a mere 29.7 ounces. And while we're on the subject of "scales," check out the unique design of the slide serrations. Tritium night sights and a Titanium firing pin are standard equipment on the 1911SC. Although 1911 purists may scoff at Smith & Wesson's external extractor, it has been a proven feature that aids in positive ejection. With a pistol as feature-rich as the 1911SC, you'd expect to pay handsomely. Thankfully, retail is a conservative $1369. On Point Firearms has these in stock for $1275 and only $1150 for members of our exclusive VIP Program, respectively. Click here for the 1911SC photo gallery.

This week, we're running a VIP member special on a couple of Sig Sauer 1911s: The Sig Sauer 1911XO Tactical Package is on blowout special for only $786 and the 1911UC is only $839.

If you missed our special on the Colt M4A1 SOCOM from a few weeks ago, here's a closer look at this special rifle. It features a Knight's Armament Corp quad rail handguard, 600m flip up rear sight, and ambidextrous safety lever. Click here for the photo gallery.

We have a few more cases of Federal M855 5.56mm NATO. That's the good 62gr green tip stuff in 2000rd cases-- and it's current 2012 production from Lake City! Click here for info.

That's all for today. Have a good 'un and God bless. -- Evan
